NCSC STANDS FOR NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS, It is a programme of National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.It is a unique program that motivates children to take-up scientific research on local specific issues of their choice under broad themes.The NCSC theme for 2023 is”UNDERSTANDING ECOSYSTEM FOR HEALTH AND WELL BEING” with 5 subthemes.
NSS STANDS FOR NATIONAL SCIENCE SEMINAR, It is organizedBY GUJCOST in association with National Council of Science Museum.The objective of the science seminar is to inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking in the minds of young students.Topic for the seminar changes every year and informed in advance.Here children can present the topic with the help of charts or ppt presentation.
Every year the department of IT, BT, and S&T, Government of Karnataka in association with Tata Consultancy Services is organizing the National Rural IT Quiz in hybrid mode for school students in Gujarat..GUJCOST is organizing District Level Rural IT Quiz 2022 competition for the students of schools which are not in corporation areas.
The Gujarat STEM Quiz is envisioned to be a yearly activity which will enroll and motivate students from class 9 to 12 to participate, learn and enjoy the fun and excitement. It has been designed keeping in mind to inculcate informal science learning. While it is competitive in nature, it also adds significant educational value to each student’s STEM (Science,Technology,Engineering & Maths) education. students from all across state can participate irrespective of location, board, medium of education or gender.
